Her personal work is divided between various disciplines – sketchbooks and linocut and is usually inspired by travel and cityscapes.
Built in 1901 as a music hall, Hackney Empire is a key hub for culture in East London and is captured with aesthetic warmth in this scene from the Master and Margarita written by Mikhail Bulgakov.
This linocut was accidentally resurrected from its oblivion when the artist found it amongst her old school years works lying around the attic.
